Recipe Box: How to prepare peanuts chutney

Ingredients

Peanuts – half cup

Jaggery – 2tbsp

Salt – salt to taste

Dry coconut slices – ¼ cup

Oil – 1tbsp

Onion – 2 (Finely Chopped)

Tamarind water – lemon size tamarind

Chana Dal – ½ tbsp.

Urad dal – ½ tbsp.

Curry leaves – 3, Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp. mustard seeds- ½ tbsp.

Dried Red chilies – 2

Water – half cup


Procedure:

1) Take a mixer bowl; add peanuts, jaggery, salt, dry coconut slices grind to a fine powder.

2) Add Tamarind water and again grind it to a thick paste

3) Shift the paste to a bowl

4) Take a small pan, add oil and heat it. Add Chana Dal, urad dal, Cumin, Mustard seeds, Dry red chilies, curry leaves and fry them until it becomes golden color.

5) Now add all the fried ingredients to the paste and mix well.

6) Add freshly and finely chopped Onions and mix well with hand and add half cup water. Mix well.
