Nandi Hills must be one of the most visited places by anyone staying in Bangalore. 60 KM Away from Bangalore
Here is our trip details:
We planned to start by 4 AM from Electronic city so we can reach Nandi hills check post before 5:30.
Morning 4 AM started from Electronic city by bike to enjoy the early morning drive.
Route : Electronic city – >Silk board -> Hebbal -> Devanahalli/Airport road -> nandi hills Junction in Hyd highway -> Nandi Hills route. Once the Airport road toll gate ends follow the distance markers on the Bangalore – Hyderabad express highway within 10Km you will reach the Nandi hills junction. Take Left, Keep going straight till the dead end and take left. After a while, you'll reach a junction which has a statue of a "Nandi", from there you have to take right, and you will reach the check post in no time.
As gates were not yet opened, we had some time to chit chat... waited for 15 min.
The gates were opened and started to climb the hill and reached top of the hill within 15 min, road was good but we will find multiple bends and also it’s a two way road. So we should be very careful while driving.
Paid the toll and started walking towards the top of the hill, view was just awesome.
Heaven on the hill….
