The Shiva Temple has a statue made of cement concrete which is 65 feet tall. The temple also has a huge Lord Ganesh statue and a Navagrah temple inside. This temple is open 24 hours. Beneath the statue, there is a pathway where models of Shiva lingams in different forms, and these are often replicas of the lingams found in other parts of the country. One of the famous lingams located here is made of ice and it is said to be a replica of Amaranth.

My Visit Details:
Best Time to visit this place is early morning or Evening hours. But don’t be too late otherwise you will end up with the huge crowd.
I had been to this temple twice and visited in the Evening.
Address: #97, Terrace Kemp Fort , old Airport Road, MurugeshPalya.
From Electronic City -> Silk Board -> Marathahalii -> Take Left Towards Domlur road -> Murugesh Palya -> Total Mall .
This temple is situated Back side of the Total mall and entry of the temple we can found left side of the total mall where big Shiva Linga Situated.
Entry fee will be minimal charge but for the puja’s done by you near the Idols will be more price. So I would recommend, take the full package ticket with 100/- which includes all puja’s price and 2 Bhajan Song CDs. There also a minimal charge for cameras.
The package ticket which we got has multiple tabs which was torn at various stations of the temple.
1) As you enter the temple there is a 108 Om Namah Shivaya Yatra. For this yatra, we should drop 1 coin in each bowls (108 bowls) by chanting om namah shivaya.
2) Once you cross this yatra, there is huge statue of lord Ganesh which is about 35 feet tall. Poojari will provide thread which we should tie to the tree which is next to the Ganesh Statue.
3) Walk a little then comes a place where we can do puja to the idol and do milk Abhishekam.
4) Then you will find a cave, inside which there is a mini version of the twelve Jyotirlingas ( Lord Shiva is worshipped in form of Lingam (pillar) of light) one has to pay an entrance fee to see that or it includes in the 100/- package.
5) Once you come out from cave there you can touch the huge and beautiful statue of Lord Shiva which is about 65 feet tall. The design is such that it gives a feeling as if Lord Shiva is sitting on Kailash Parvat and Devi Ganga is flowing from his head. The view is beautiful.
6) There is a small pond in front of the statue and it is believed that it fulfils one`s wishes. in the package.
7) Miracle Spot: if a devotee of Lord Shiva immerses sacred coins in the water with an incantation of the words Om Namah Shivaya seven times and with a wish in mind, the wish shall come true.
8) We can get divas from the pujari and Do harathi to Shiva Statue and we can leave diva in the pond.
In front of Pond we have a place to sit and see the Shiva statue. Next to that we can find fire ritual (Homam) where we can put sandal sticks.
Near the Exit we have Navagraha idols where we can perform navagrah puja.
While Exit If anyone interested to buy Bhajan songs, puja items or donate money for child. They have option to get it here.
Overall Experience was good. Got Opportunity to know more about Jyothirlingas and details of where the each Jyothirlinga is located. First time visited a big statue of Shiva…. Love to visit again.
For First time Visit, I would recommend to take package and cover the entire temple so that next time you can just come and directly proceed to Shiva Statue.
